THIS IS MY JOURNEY....

Throughout most of my adult life, I struggled to maintain healthy romantic relationships. And this really irritated me because I LOVE love! I am a Cancer through and through - emotional, sensitive, empathetic - making me a magnet for narcissists!  These toxic relationships, coupled with a high pressure job, came with a lot of unnecessary shame and blame and left me feeling angry, sad and unmotivated.  I faced depression and low self esteem, and the amount of wine I was consuming definitely didn't help.   Eventually I lost my job and I needed to find a healthy way to cope, rebuild, and get to the root of some unhealthy patterns that I kept finding myself swirling in.  Through meditation, I was called to study Reiki to heal myself from the inside out. I immersed myself in books, classes, podcasts and practice; made my health a priority; actively participated in therapy and recovery; let go of unhealthy relationships; and trained to become a Reiki Master.

I always knew there was something unique about my energy but I didn't know how or why or what it meant. When I learned how to tap into this energy for healing, it opened up something sacred that connected me to a Divine source of love that I had never felt before ~ and it came from within. Practicing Reiki and reciting its Principles every day allowed me to finally let go of anger and worry ~ and live each day with kindness, gratitude and love for everyone and everything - and most importantly, love for myself.

At first, I used Reiki to heal myself; then as I started to practice on friends and family, as well as their pets, incredible shifts and transformations started happening in their lives.  They were happier and moved through the days and challenges with ease and flow. They felt supported and safe. Anger, worry and discontent were replaced with laughter, patience and calm. Pets were cuddling again after years of being skittish; or eating again after age and disease had taken their appetites.

This includes me of course! Everything has been falling into alignment since I started this journey. I am proof that you can turn it all around and start down your path of true purpose at 50!

Helping people manifest their desires, do more of what they love, and find peace and joy in their every day life is now my focus. Leading with love isn't always easy. The world can be real shitty. People can be shitty. Sometimes we just need a little help to get to a good place, and then an opportunity to keep growing in a positive direction. Since I began this journey and cleansed my body, mind and spirit, my intuitive gifts have elevated to a whole other level. This only makes my practice stronger and allows me to help my clients on a much deeper level with divine guidance and encouragement.

I could not have done this without my little soul tribe of spiritual sisters and brothers, and the support of my children, who are truly the most patient and compassionate teenage boys. A lot of time was spent in quiet contemplation and isolation, doing the work, feeling the feels and learning lessons. Everything about me has changed in the most positive and beautiful way.  So with this foundation of love and support and overflowing with knowledge and tools, I have built a healing and transformation practice to share my gifts with others and help elevate the collective consciousness.
